The terms that govern your use of Hestia.

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Hestia mobile application, website, and related services. By accessing or using Hestia, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and old enough to use Hestia under applicable law. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Hestia is a digital product for reflection, emotional wellbeing support, relationship organization, reminders, and related features. Features may include mood check-ins, text reflections, audio recordings and transcription, photo uploads, contacts and relationship records, events and recurring reminders, AI-assisted summaries and suggestions, friend connections, private mood sharing, reactions, and notifications.

We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Hestia is not a medical device, therapy service, crisis service, or healthcare provider.

The service does not provide medical advice, mental health diagnosis, treatment, or emergency support. Do not rely on Hestia as a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency assistance.

You may need an account to use some or all features of Hestia. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account and device secure, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

You are responsible for activity under your account to the extent permitted by law.

You may submit, upload, record, store, or share content through Hestia, including notes, moods, contacts, reminders, events, audio, photos, and related materials.

You retain ownership of your content, but you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, and display that content solely as necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the service, including transcription, summaries, search, and suggestion features.

If you choose to share a mood with a connected friend, you authorize us to make that shared content available in accordance with the feature design of the service.

Based on the current product behavior, shared mood functionality is intended to expose only limited information, such as the mood and timestamp, and may also include associated reaction activity. You are responsible for what you choose to share and with whom.

Hestia may use automated tools and third-party providers to generate transcripts, summaries, extracted entities, search indexes, and reminder or event suggestions.

You understand and agree that AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or inappropriate, and that you are responsible for reviewing any suggestion before acting on it.

You agree not to use Hestia in violation of any law, to infringe the rights of others, to upload unlawful or harmful content, to interfere with the service, to access systems or data without authorization, or to use Hestia to stalk, harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm others.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these terms or created risk for the service or others.

If you add contact information, notes, reminders, or other content relating to another person, you are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis and the right to do so.

Your use of Hestia is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

The service, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, interfaces, and underlying technology, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use Hestia under these terms, no rights are granted to you.

If you provide feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use them without restriction or compensation to you.

We do not guarantee that Hestia will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Features may change over time, and some functionality may be experimental or beta.

You may stop using Hestia at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, if we are required to do so by law, if your use creates legal, operational, or security risk, or if we discontinue the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hestia is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hestia and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising out of or related to the service or these terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service or these terms will be limited to the amount you paid, if any, for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Hestia, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will post the revised version here and revise the last updated date above. Your continued use of Hestia after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms, to the extent permitted by law.
